Eligibility

A 50 mile race or greater, within the time limits of that race, between last year's Old Dominion and this year's Old Dominion. OR finished a previous Old Dominion under 24 hours. See redbook for more information.

All entries are subject to review by the run committee who reserve the right to reject the applications of those deemed unqualified.

All runners are required to meet with the medical team before they will be issued their race numbers. And they will check in with the med team twice on course.

Runners and their support crews are required to attend the pre-race brief.

PitCew

Runners are limited to 1 vehicle for pit crew as parking is tight at aid stations. Fairgrounds can be used to meet up and consolidate. Runners will be given a parking permit for their crew upon check-in. This must be displayed at all times during the race. Crew is not permitted to drive on runners marked course. Crew must follow the directions listed in the runner's redbook. Racer's crew being on course puts the racer at risk for being disqualified. Crew is encouraged to attend the Friday night meeting to gain understanding of the race and state park rules.

Drop bags: Please label drop bags with name, bib #, and aid station name. We do not have limits on drop bag size, but they need to be able to be closed. Please be respectful of the size of your bag as we have many to transport. In addition, we do not recommend storing any glass in the bags as they are moved around a lot throughout the weekend. Drop bag must be at the Fairgrounds by 5pm Friday.

Olivier

Safety runners are allowed from mile 75 (Elizabeth Furance Aid Station) to mile 86 (Veach West Aid station.) They are not there to help a runner but there to ensure the runner's safety over a challenging section of the course that typically occurs in the dark. Safety runners are responsible for their own transportation. There are no shuttles between these points. However, there are crew/volunteers around and often willing to drive you back to your vehicle, if you ask around. Note that parking is much easier at Elizabeth Furance than Veach West.
The race does not provide volunteer safety runners.
